AusAID Advisory Services success

Posted 18 February 2013 6:19pm

In 2012 the Australian Government replaced a range of period offer arrangements with the Aid Advisory Services Standing Offer Panel for the Australian Aid Program. This new approach ensures a streamlined procurement process across 17 categories of services purchased by AusAID, Government agencies, and other official development assistance (ODA) bodies.

Australia's overseas aid program is fully untied so tenders for this panel were submitted by people and organisations from across Australia and around the world.  Despite this competition, ANUE's submissions were successful in the fields of capacity development, research, climate change and environment, gender, governance and social development. Over the next 3 years, ANUE will be providing a range of expertise and advice to help maximise the effectiveness of Australia's overseas aid assistance.
